Our Story

Welcome to Château Rouge — a beloved Red Lodge landmark where timeless mountain charm meets modern-day comfort. Once known as a classic ski lodge, Château Rouge has evolved into a distinctive alpine retreat, blending nostalgic character with the flexibility and privacy today’s travelers love.

Now operating as a beautifully managed HOA condominium community, each residence at Château Rouge is individually owned, creating a diverse and authentic mountain living experience. While some owners call Château Rouge home year-round and others offer long-term stays, we proudly feature a curated collection of short-term vacation rentals for guests seeking the perfect Red Lodge getaway.

Choose from nine inviting condos and three charming studios, each offering its own unique style while providing cozy accommodations just minutes from Red Lodge Mountain, downtown shopping, dining, and year-round adventure.

Meet Sage 🐾

Chief Pawspitality Officer

If you happen to spot a sleek black lab trotting proudly around Château Rouge, tail wagging like she owns the place, you’ve met Sage—our unofficial greeter, morale booster, and full-time good girl.

Sage starts her mornings doing a perimeter check (very important work), loves a good snowbank or sunny patch of grass, and firmly believes every guest is here just to meet her. She’s friendly, gentle, and always happy to make a new friend—especially if ear scratches are involved.

Sage also wants all her visiting dog friends to have a great stay too… and she asked us to pass along a few polite reminders.

Bringing your dog? Sage says thanks for helping us keep Château Rouge beautiful:

Please clean up after your pup – Sage likes a tidy yard.
Use the provided sheets and furniture covers to protect our couches and beds
Keep dogs leashed while on the grounds – even Sage knows safety first.
Don’t leave pets unattended in the condos or outside.
Dogs are not allowed in the pool house (Sage tried once… it was a no.)
